Towson Cru is partnered with Central Asia to see God’s Word go forth on college campuses in a major city in Central Asia. Towson has seen many of its students and staff travel to Central Asia to teach conversational English Clubs on large university and college campuses and build relationships with students just like them. Through these relationships, English Clubs, and other events held like movie nights, sports, and socials, students have the opportunity to hear the Gospel message – even sometimes for the very first time in their lives!
God is doing a magnificent work in Central Asia and is using Towson in a mighty way there! Check out some of the pictures of teams from our region who have gone to Central Asia on summer projects and other pictures from the region.
Currently, there is a team of 4 women who are going on a Cru summer project for 6 weeks this summer!! Please be praying for them as they raise financial support and serve students in their city, and that God would open the hearts of students to respond well to the gospel.
ALSO! God has raised up a team of 4 to go on a year-long STINT internship to Central Asia from our region – who will be working with long-term staff and national staff! God is doing a great work in these region, please pray for the financial support of this intern team and that God would be working in their lives that there would be great unity between the team as they will work together for the next year, starting in August 2009.
